This page is a general disclosure about how we operate. It is not the disclosure that governs your transaction. The operative written disclosure is delivered to you with your purchase agreement before you sign anything. If you have received documents from us and cannot find that disclosure, tell us and we will send it again.
G&C Property Solutions LLC, doing business as Castle Buys Houses.
We are not licensed real estate agents or brokers, and we do not represent you in a transaction. When we make an offer, we are the buyer — or the party who will assign the purchase contract to a buyer. Our interests in a transaction are not the same as yours.
A wholesaler puts a property under contract and then, rather than completing the purchase itself, assigns that purchase contract to another buyer who closes on it. The wholesaler is paid the difference between the contract price and what the end buyer pays.
We do both. On some transactions we buy and close ourselves. On others we assign the contract. You will be told in writing which one applies to your transaction before you sign, and you are entitled to ask at any point.
Oregon began regulating residential property wholesaling in 2024. Wholesalers must register with the state, and must give sellers written disclosure that they are acting as a wholesaler and that the contract may be assigned to another party.
Registration is not a licence, an endorsement, or any statement by the State of Oregon that we are qualified or trustworthy. It means we are on a list and subject to the rules. You should still check us out.
You should not take our word for any of this. Here is how to verify it in about five minutes.
If you believe an Oregon wholesaler has not followed the law, you can contact the Oregon Department of Justice consumer protection hotline at 1-877-877-9392. That includes us. We would rather you had that number than not.
If you have a question about an offer we have made you, call (541) 250-3067 and ask for Gerren.
